“Dancing with the SCC Stars” features eight community leaders

Eight community leaders are raising funds for scholarships at the Salem Community College Foundation’s “Dancing with the SCC Stars” on Friday, September 20.
The business-casual evening of fun, food and live entertainment starts at 5:30 p.m. in Salem Community College’s Davidow Hall, 460 Hollywood Ave., Carneys Point, N.J. Cost is $100 per person, which includes a dinner buffet by DiPaolo’s, an open bar and a silent auction.
Entertainer John Monforto, well known for his Elvis and Sinatra tributes, will serve as master of ceremonies.
The Foundation collaborates with the BlueBallRoom Dance Studio and LaPierre Ballroom Dance Studio and the following community leaders:

- Maria Fantini – Salem Community College
- Linda Gorman – Operation Warrior Resolution
- Charlie Hassler – PSEG (retired)
- Chris Hickey – Chemours
- Col. Wayne McFadden – Delaware River and Bay Authority
- Dan Neu – Mayor of Pennsville
- Stacy Pennington – Salem County Clerk of the Board
To buy tickets and donate toward a dancer, visit www.salemcc.edu/gala. Voting ends at midnight on Thursday, September 19. All proceeds will benefit the SCC Foundation Scholarship Fund.
An orb, "Celestial Bouquet," created and donated by world-renowned artist and SCC distinguished alumnus Paul J. Stankard, will be auctioned online along with other unique hand-crafted glass items the week of the event. For details, visit www.salemcc.edu/gala.
